Trayvon Martin
Does anybody else see the similarities between these protesters demanding an arrest and an old time lynch mob? One difference is that he won't be strung up in an old tree, will he? Mr Zimmerman may well be guilty, and to me it looks like he is, but WE DON'T KNOW! The 'mob' seems to be acting like a judge, jury, and executioner. It appears that Zimmerman assumed that someone was guilty and now the mob seems to be doing the same thing. We need to see the reports and know all the facts before making judgments. These two men, before that fateful day, were both law abiding citizens legally and morally going about their business. Then something went horribly wrong. We don't know what happened. We were not there. And until we get those answers, I don't think a lynching is in order. RIP Trayvon.

Money
Rich people, and poor, should really read this. It makes a lot of sense. I could stop my bitching about 'rich' people if we could all do this. It was written by a 'rich' guy.

Matthew 7:12 Luke 6:31
My neighborhood has crime. Most do. So one morning I wake up to this. >>>>>>>>>>>>
Not really. No neighborhood in America is going to think this is a good idea to fight crime. But this is what we do, as a nation, in other countries! Everyday, places where our military are, the people of that country see this. No wonder they don't like us. What if another country did that to us. No way! But we do it to them. Why? Do we not see?
In my town the police deal with the few idiots who disrupt and pretty much leave the rest of us alone. Most of the time I don't even know they are out there protecting me. That is good. I like it that way. But if every day, I see police, armed to the teeth, cruising around in armored vehicles rousting me at 'safety' checkpoints all the time I am gonna be damn pissed! Planes overhead all the time? Ones that could kill you any second? Are we surprised that they don't like us? I really think we need to take a step back, and take a look at ourselves. We may be taking our 'goodwill' to far. Seriously.

I am a veteran
This article is totally worth reading. The military has changed so much since I was a kid. In a lot of ways , much worse. Some ways a lot better. I could go on and on about the failures and how we have become almost no better than the people we fight but this does a lot better job than I can. Don't get me wrong here, I am very proud of my country and the fact that I did serve, but I must admit I am becoming a little disillusioned with the whole thing. Anyway, read this if you want. Comment if you want.
